About this Project:
This playful site was created to explain a how a complex machinery component works, and to demonstrate its many benefits to potential buyers.
My concept was to start with a "sad robot" - sad because he's been poorly maintained and needs repair. As a viewer scrolls to the end of the site, they're presented with animated facts and figures related to the product, and finally, a "happy robot" with the new component installed. This site was built by the incredibly talented Alisa Herr using custom .svg graphics and animations. The site was only live for a few weeks for a trade show in 2014, but it remains one of my favorite projects to date.
