I wrote an entire blog post about this design, because it was quite an undertaking. The short story is that this is a real place in the NC mountains that has been special to my family for three generations. I made this hand painted map for them as a Christmas gift in 2014, and it's now sold as limited edition signed and numbered prints in the Lake Junaluska Bookstore & Cafe.
