Hello!

I'm a lettering artist, illustrator, printmaker and graphic designer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. I received my Bachelor of Graphic Design degree from North Carolina State University in 2009, and after five years in a local web design agency, returned to NC State where I spent my thesis year researching methods of combining hand and digital craft in the making of "hybrid" typography (hand + digital). I received my Master's degree in Graphic Design in the spring of 2016, after semesters in Cognition, New Media Environments, and Culture. In addition to freelance design, lettering, and illustration, I'm active in the AIGA Raleigh chapter, where I serve on the elected board as Director of Design Empowerment.

I love to draw, travel, take pictures, bike, hunt for thrift store treasures, grow my indoor garden, work on home repair projects, sew, screen print, and hang out with my husband and our dog Roxie.
